As a Data QA Associate, you will be responsible for transforming the receipt data into accurate business expense insights. You will work witha top notch engineering team and data team from the U.S team andChina team. You’ll complete your work primarily using data in our proprietary software. This position offers the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to the growth of their company. Exceptional employees may have the opportunity to be promoted and manage a team of other Data QA Associates.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform accurate and efficient data extraction, labeling, andcleaning from English emails toensure high-quality data.
- Monitor and analyze data trendsfor various merchants and vendors,including categorizing the emailand identifying the trends.
- Maintain the stability of merchantand vendor data, investigatinganomalies such as sudden drops orspikes in data volume.
- Collaborate with teams in bothChina and the U.S. to ensure data consistency and quality.
- Provide timely responses toanalysts and clients’ demands andininiao
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree or above. Major in Computer Science, Statistics,Business Analytics, or a relatedfield are preferred;
- 0 -2 years of experience as a dataor quality assurance analyst;
- Experience in data tagging,cleaning or Regex·
- Experience in managing multiple processes in parallel
- Basic data analysis skills and familiarity with Excel, SQL, or python are a plus.
- Familiar with accounting standards, able to distinguish the company’s accounting categories,and understand the company’s accounting records, preferably with experience using mainstream ERP systems such as NetSuite, Ramp, or QBO.
- Exceptional attention to detail,problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with a remote team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English,with the ability to interact effectively with vendors teams across time zone and cultures
